About The Mothership

The Mothership was built as a means of creating a community of parents via events, chats, email threads and providing information and resources for the cosmic mother. The Mothership aims to highlight the mother as the source of all creation, the vessel between the spiritual and physical realms. Its time that childbirth be recognized and treated as a sacred, transformative, healing, physiological process that requires additional support.

The Mothership offers Birth & Postpartum Doula Services, Lactation Counseling, Childbirth Education, Placenta Services, and BelliBinding.

As your doulas, we will provide emotional, physical, and spiritual support that will assist in preparation for birth and labor. Most importantly, we will hold space for you. We will bring our entire being to you throughout your pregnancy, birth & postpartum period. We will walk with you, see you, hear you, be fully present, and help ground and center you with unconditional support. We will serve as your friends, coaches, resources, and guides.

“Your birth. Your way.”

Our support is tailored to each individual as we are full holistic humans who are the experts of our own bodies. You make the calls. We are your resource. Continuous education and intuition guide our service, while bringing an individualized approach to birth and postpartum education and support. What was best for your mother and grandmother may not necessarily work for you.

Together, we will figure out your unique needs, what your best support will look like, and work to get all of your close one’s with the program. This transition in your life can be joyous and smooth. You will feel confident and secure as you become a parent and your family will be provided with the resources to help support you after our job is done.

The Mothership offers birth doula and newborn support services in New York City (Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, Brooklyn) and the greater metro NYC area.  Confidentiality, discretion, and nonjudgmental unconditional support are guaranteed.

It takes strength and support to challenge the status-quo and the reproductive health systems in place. We are currently working with the NYC Department of Health and The Citywide Doula Initiative to bring free doula services to Harlem & The Bronx.  We are focused on bringing full spectrum doula services and education to marginalized communities and communities of color in an effort to address the disproportionately high infant and maternal mortality rate among African-American and Hispanic women in NYC.

Confidentiality, discretion, and nonjudgmental unconditional support are guaranteed.

I am a passionate, radiant, feminine Puerto Rican mother, born, raised, and currently residing in New York City. My own experiences during my first pregnancy and childbirth that I navigated as a single parent from beginning to end, were transformative and led me to my life’s calling. My most recent pregnancy and birth, which occurred during the 2020 Covid lockdown in NYC, further ignited my passion for birth and postpartum work.  It is my life’s calling to support pregnant people and build community around the transition to parenthood.
